Today my brother Joel and his wife Amber had their second little boy. He weighed in at 7lbs 15oz and was 19" long. They named him Ethan and are still working out his middle name. He is so sweet and such a beautiful little boy. Noah was so sweet while I was holding Ethan. He came up and sat on my lap and gave Ethan a little wave and just set his little hand on his arm. It was so sweet, Chris decided to take a picture.
Funny Story
Hyrum has been telling me that he wants a little sister for a while now. I keep telling him that if I get pregnant that I could have another boy. That we don't get to choose what we have. He doesn't quick understand why we can't have a girl if that's what we want. So earlier today when I was picking up a new little outfit for baby Ethan Hyrum turns to me and says, "Mom, why aren't you having another baby?"
I said, "Do you want me to have another baby?"
Hyrum, "Yes, I want you to have a baby girl."
Me, "Well sweety daddy and I will see what we can do about that, okay."
Hyrum, " Okay, but make sure it's a girl."
I didn't know what else to say, I just had to laugh at how presistant he is about us having a little girl. Of course Chris and I would love to have a little girl. If only we knew that's what we would have. We know we are not done yet, but don't plan to start trying for a little while. I'll be sure to let everyone know once there is any news to tell! :-)
