Children's Museum of Houston

Holly and I took the boys to the Children's Museum and they had a great time. Here is a picture of the boys after they got to color their faces. Don't they look scary.
Here they are hard at work getting their war paint on.

They had turtles in a creek outside.
The Flow Works part was tons of fun.

The kids got to milk a cow. Course the cow wasn't real, but they were able to get some water out.

They had a grocery store section where they had shopping lists and a check out register when you were all done. Here is all the food the boys collected.

Here's the way cool car the kids got to see all the insides of. They loved it.

Cute little Brody happy as can be. He was such a good, happy little boy. I think he just enjoyed watching all the kids running around and all the fun colors.
The pulley system where you could lift yourself up on a seat.

The phone center was pretty awesome too. I don't know if you can tell, but that is Noah on the screen and Porter is talking to him on the phone. If you looked on Noah's screen you would see Porter. The boys thought that was pretty cool.

The is the phone sculpture made out of all different kinds of phone. If you look closely you can see a hamburger, fries and coke phone. There is also and apple and banana phone as well. Can you see where they are?

Our Apartment

This is the view from our patio
our kitchen
the entry way
the dining room
our living room and all the furniture we have
master bathroom
our bedroom
and the boys room. Pretty exciting I know. The apartment works great for what we need. We have a couch and are looking for a table, but may end up not getting one anyway. The apartment complex has two pools and a hot tub at each one and there's a fitness center. The apartment complex is close to town center and Hyrum's school.

Passing through Las Vegas

I didn't get many pictures of our drive down to Texas. I really only pulled the camera out once. These first two pictures are of the view from our hotel room the morning we were getting ready to leave Las Vegas.

We had to drive over the Hoover Dam and we saw that they were building a bridge across the dam. It was pretty cool to see the bridge in progress. The pictures just don't do it justice.

The last two pictures are just some of the landscape outside of Las Vegas. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing. We are hoping we will have time to take the trip back through Las Vegas on our way home and maybe stop and spend some time in Las Vegas to see all the sites.
