Happy Birthday Noah

Noah is 4 years old today. He has done a lot of growing this past year. He can now go potty all by himself, can get dressed all by himself, put on his shoes all by himself, ride his bike w/ training wheels all by himself and goes to preschool all by himself. He is stubborn, a little ornery, very independent and very particular, but we love him all the same. He keeps us laughing and always on our toes. He can be the sweetest kid when he wants to be and the craziest as well. He became a big brother this year and stepped right into that role no problem. He loves his little sister and is happy to pass on the role of baby. Happy Birthday Noah we love you!

Chris's Latest Toy

This is Chris's Monster. He still is a little shaky driving it since it's all really new to him, but he is really excited about it. It's like watching a kid's face on Christmas morning when the kid first sees all the presents under the tree. It's so funny to watch him play around with it. He works really hard all year and it's nice that he can get a little play in sometimes to make up for it.

Noah's first day of preschool

Noah started preschool this past month. He loves it. The preschool is held in the church that's a block from our house. We usually walk to and from school and Noah looks so cute with his backpack on walking along the sidewalk to school. Every day he gets out he is excited to tell me all about what he did. Yesterday when we were walking home he was telling me the story about the 5 monkeys jumping on the bed. He did so good I only had to help him a couple of times. He is getting so smart. I'm so glad we registered him in preschool this year.

Happy 5 month birthday Evie!!!

This past month Evie learned how to roll over tummy to back and back to tummy. She is pretty proud of herself. She has also found her toes and loves it when I take her socks and pants off so she can play with them easily.

She loves to play in her Saucer. She sucks on every toy and when she is done with one she throws it on the floor and moves onto the next. When she is all done her shirt is soaked in her drool and she also has puddles of drool on her saucer. It's wonderful!

Evie loves going to her brothers' soccer games. I think mostly she loves being outside. But she will watch the kids on the soccer field and watch all the parents who are there as well. She has a grand old time.

I of course love to dress Evie up with cute little bows and flowers. When I find an outfit that I love I end up taking 5 to 10 photos of her in that outfit. She doesn't seem to mind, I think she even likes it a little.

Evie also loves to suck on her lower lip. I think it is adorable. She is such a sweetheart.

Hyrum loves his little sister. Here he is snuggling with her on the floor. Aren't they cute!

Of course he has to give her lots of hugs and kisses.
There she is sucking on her lower lip again.

Sometimes I'm smart enough to get a bib on her when she is in her saucer.

Avery Anthony Ellerd is Evie's favorite cousin. Mostly because he is only 3 1/2 weeks younger than her and she doesn't really get to play with any of her other cousins because she can't keep up with them.

We like to lay them next to each other and see how they do. They'll look at each other and try to grab the others face or hands or shirt or something. It's fun.

I got her laughing in this picture. I can't remember what it was that she thought was so funny. I love this little girl.

This is the picture I took this morning. 5 months old. Sitting up on her own. What a big girl. She is growing up so fast I can hardly keep up. She's already trying to crawl. She'll try to push herself forward with her toes only she doesn't really know what to do with her hands. She ends up barely sliding with her arms at her side and her face in the carpet. It's pretty cute. Next time I'll have to get a picture.

Seaside Aug. 2009

The boys had a great time in the house we rented with our friends.
We had a bonfire on the beach each night.
Hyrum loves playing in the sand.
Evie was happy as long has she had something to suck on.
Noah being goofy.
The men coming back in after playing some football.
There must have been something interesting on that computer screen.
What I have no idea! :-)
Don't you just love Noah's banana mustache.
Arah, Sarah and me.
Cody and Noah playing in the sand.
The proud cooks getting their picture taken in front of the tasty feast they prepared.
What a handsome guy. Look how much his kids love him.
A not so happy Evie. She is still adorable.
That's better.
Walking on the beach at night. Chris, Evie, me, Arah and Sarah.
Keeping warm by the fire.
Here is the whole gang at the end of our fabulous trip right before we jumped in our cars to head home. We had a great time and loved every minute of it. Hanging out at the beach never gets old.

Evie's Baby Blessing

Evelyn Rae Farman
Born May 1, 2009
Blessed Aug. 16, 2009

It took us a little while, but we finally blessed Evie last month. Chris did the blessing and he did a wonderful job. My brother Joel and brother-in-laws Adam and Bob were in the circle along with Chris's dad Mark and our friends Matt Kunz and Clayton Hull.
My mom, brother Ryan, sister Melody, her husband Adam and their baby Avery, my brother Joel, his wife Amber and my Grandma McCombs came from my side of the family.
Chris's sister Cindy and her husband Bob came but left right after, Chris's dad Mark and mother Virginia, brother Dave and his son Jacob.
Some of the guys who were in the circle. Joel, Clayton, Adam and Grandpa Farman.

It was a beautiful blessing and even though you can hardly see Evie, she looked beautiful in her blessing dress. Hyrum and Noah kept telling be how beautiful she looked in it.
