Weekend away

First we had to walk around to decide what we wanted to do. There was so much to look at and so much to do. The boys finally decided that they wanted to get their faces painted.
Hyrum decide to do Batman
and Noah decided to do a Tiger
Here they are just after we finished.
This tiger can roar!
Holy crap Batman!
After painting their faces they painted their very own Frisbees. You put the Frisbee in a big box with a and it spins around while you pour paint onto it.
Pretty cool!

Later we head over to Rock Island Hydro Park.
We through rocks in the river
and rolled around in the grass.

We had a great time. It was nice to get a while even though it was only a couple days. We played in the pool at the Hotel, ate Mexican food, did some shopping and went to the park. It was a very quick and exhausting trip. We didn't get to go to Leavenworth because we ran out of time. I think we are going to squeeze in a couple days at Leavenworth when we head down to Seaside next month. It'll be great!

Going to Aunt Melody's House

This is Aunt Melody
Emma found the kittens
Porter couldn't get enough of the little baby kittens.
Garrett would come over to check on them and make sure we were being nice to them. "You have to be nice to the kittens or they will scratch you." He was so concerned about them. It was sweet.

Noah was so sweet and gentle with the kittens. He said, "They are little so have be careful with them mama."
"This is the Mama kitty."

After lunch we took the kids over to the park.

Garrett, Hyrum, Noah, Porter and Mason
They had a great time. These cousins play so well together. It was a very good day!

Enjoying the Sun

Yesterday we were expecting rain, but it didn't rain. It was actually nice and warm out. So we decided to enjoy as much of it as we could. In the afternoon the boys played out front.
Noah played with the dump truck.
Running all around the front yard with this dump truck.
Hyrum played with the chalk. Drawing hop scotch and all kinds of other pictures.
Noah decided he would fill up the dump truck with rocks and dump them by Hyrum on the path.
Later when Chris came home we took the boys over to the school and tried to teach them how to ride their bike. Hyrum is learning how to ride a two wheeler
and Noah is just learning how to peddle. He is still not sure why we can't just push him all around.
When we got back we decided to blow bubbles. The boys were being so cute.
Noah keep pretending that the bubble were bombs and any time one hit him he would make crashing noises and fall to the ground.

They had a great time. We had a fun family night!!

Best Buds

I am so grateful for the time I have gotten to spend at home with my boys. Although at times it has been hard to adjust to being home all day from working full time it has been so worth it. I feel so much closer to my boys. Something I felt I was missing when I was working. Some days they really drive me nuts with all their fighting and then other days they surprise me with how well they play together and how much they love eachother.

T-Ball

First we start with a little practice

Then we gather the kids back up
and we take a knee to get a little pep talk.
Now it's time to work out
do some jumping jax.
Let's play! Here is Hyrum up to bat!
Now Garrett
and then Jenna.
Here comes Hyrum into home.
I think his helmet is a little too big for him.
Garrett made it home. He is so excited!
Jenna is safe on home plate.
Boy I love this game!!
