Best Buds

I am so grateful for the time I have gotten to spend at home with my boys. Although at times it has been hard to adjust to being home all day from working full time it has been so worth it. I feel so much closer to my boys. Something I felt I was missing when I was working. Some days they really drive me nuts with all their fighting and then other days they surprise me with how well they play together and how much they love eachother.

T-Ball

First we start with a little practice

Then we gather the kids back up
and we take a knee to get a little pep talk.
Now it's time to work out

Pigtails

Today I did Emma's hair in pigtails. This is right after I finished.
This is Emma 4 hours after I did her hair. Still not bad. Of course she had already taken her nap before I did her hair, but still it is good practice for me if I ever have a daughter of my own. Maybe someday!

Support Our Troops

I was just fooling around online and found this website, Soldier's Angels. It is centered around supporting our troops. It gives you several options and ways that you can help show your support. I have decided that I am going to make a blanket. My brother has already been to Iraq and is now on his way to Kuwait. I am so proud of him and the sacrifices he makes all the time to serve our country.



I know that some people may not believe in what we are doing over there, but I have to say that I do. We are helping a repressed people stand on their own. Helping them build up their defenses so they wont have to rely on us to protect them. They deserve to live without fear that a bomb will go off on the bus they are riding to work. Or worry that when they say goodbye to their children it will be the last time they see them. Why can't they have the freedom to believe in what they want to and live the way that they want. Everyone should have that right. I am grateful to the soldiers who sacrifice their lives, their time with their families to fight for our freedom and the freedom of others. Thank you to our soldiers and to their families. You are in my prayers and in my heart.

T-Ball

Hyrum is on his first team ever. He is playing T-Ball with his cousins Garrett and Jenna. Their coach Hyrum's uncle Trevor. Their first game was last Saturday. It was so much fun to watch them all learn how to play the game. We had a few kids who kept runny the wrong way after they hit the ball and it is always fun to watch the whole team chase after the ball. This one little boy was so sweet. He started to run out onto the feild saying that he was going to get the ball. He ran half way out there when he realized something and ran back over to his parents. You could hear him start to cry a little and say, "There are no balls!! There are no balls!!". It was so sweet and too funny. I couldn't help but laugh.

Happy Birthday Hyrum!

Hyrum was born April 16, 2003. One of the happiest days of my life. I can't believe it's been 5 years already. Hyrum has grown into a smart, sensitive, independent boy who makes each day special.
