Playing with the Kittens

I watched Tiffani Adamson's kids for a couple hours on Thursday and they just loved the kittens. When the first got there the kittens were asleep under the table. So all the kids had to go under the table to pet the kittens.
Here you see Noah, Hyrum, Emma and Kaitlyn.
Then they moved over to the coach with the kittens. Here is Hyrum and Tony.
Here we have Hyrum & Tony and Bella with Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn played with the kittens the whole two hours she was at our house.
She loves the kittens.
William like the kittens too, he just like playing with our toys more! Good times!

McCombs Ladies Girl's Night Out

My mom (Sue), sister Holly and my birthday are all in May. Then my little sister Melody's birthday is in July. So every year in May we go out together and celebrate getting older. This year we decide to celebrate getting older by going out to dinner at Rocky Rococo's and going to the Carrie Underwood/ Josh Turner concert last night. We had a great time. Her are just a few of the pictures I took of our night. Me & Holly
My Mom (Sue) & Melody
Josh Turner
What a hottie!!
And he can sing so low you can feel it in your gut. I love it!

Here are all the ladies!
Melody had such a great time. She can really scream!

Carrie Underwood came up from the floor can you tell?
This is her second outfit.
This is after the bottom of her dress ripped of in the middle of a song! On purpose!
She can play the guitar also!
Her third outfit. She also had a mic to go with each of her outfit. You have to accessorize.

We decided on names

Okay so Chris really wanted to name the brother Frank, but I told him I didn't really like that name for a cat. So I came up with Tony the Tiger and Tom Cat. We gave the boys a choice between Frank, Tony the Tiger and Tom Cat. They chose Tony the Tiger. Although Noah would just say the last name we gave him so not really sure he knew what we were asking him.

I got to name the sister. She is such a cute little girl so I decided to name her Bella. Chris agreed that she looked like a Bella so she was the easy one to name. I finally have another lady in the house besides me. I know I know, "lady" is a stretch but I can flatter myself once in a while, right? :-)

New family members

My sister's cat had a liter of 4 kittens. Today they are 8 weeks so the boys and I packed up the car and headed out to Fair Child to pick out the ones we picked out. We got a brother and sister.
The car ride home was so long that as soon as I got their food dish out for them they start to chow down. They were pretty hungry.
Now I just need to figure out a name for each of them. This is the brother.
And this is the sister. Aren't they cute.
I am having the hardest time picking out names for them. I want the names to work well together since they are brother and sister. The brother is very playful and a little wild. The sister is very loving and loves to cuddle. Any ideas??

Fun at the park

Hyrum and Noah had a great time running around through the water. Emma wouldn't actually go through the water she would only walk around the outside. It was pretty cute. The was hardly anyone at the park yesterday. I was surprised. Since I knew it was going to be rainy all day today we had to get one more day in at the park before we were stuck inside again. We had a great time!

25 years old today

I can't believe I am only 25. I feel so much older than that. So far I have had a pretty great life. I have a wonderful family and one of the best husbands any woman could ask for. He can be so thoughtful, when he wants to be. I have a beautiful home and live in a wonderful ward with so many amazing people that I look up to and admire. I have really made some wonderful friends that I know will be my friends for life. I am very happy with where I am right now and look forward to many more years with my husband and my kids. I look forward to watching them grow. I look forward to having new adventures and learning so much more.

This month in sharing time we have been focusing on the family. It has really made me take a step back and look at my family. How am I doing at creating a home for my children and for my husband. My mom did such a great job of creating a loving environment growing up and teaching us all a true love of the gospel. I am so grateful to her for everything that she has taught me to help prepare me for being a mother. I only hope that I will be able to do half as good as she did for me. I know that if I apply the principals of family pray, family scripture study and FHE in my home like we have been taught my children will grow to love the gospel just as much as I do. I enjoy the challenges life has brought me and am grateful for these past 25 years I have been given and look forward to the next 25 years.
