Green Bluff

Friday we went to Green Bluff with my sister Holly, her boys, our friend Michelle and our mom. We had a great time. Here is Porter, Garrett and Hyrum in the pumpkin patch.
Here is Noah, Mason, Garrett and Hyrum hanging out in the cart.

Porter wasn't too sure about joining the other boys in the cart.

After picking out our pumpkins and getting some yummy apples we all went on a train ride. Here's Noah can you see the snot running down his face?
Hyrum, Garrett and Porter waiting for the train ride to start.

Noah and Mason had a great time. Mason kept pointing out all the interesting things that we saw. Although I wasn't really sure what he was saying.

After the train ride we took the kids through the corn maze. This is me with my sister Holly.

Here is Holly and Michelle. It was Michelle's birthday that day and she spent the day with all our crazy boys. Happy Birthday Michelle!

After running around the corn maze for awhile not figuring out how in the world to get out of there we found a short cut to the boat and decided to take it. The boys had fun on the boys. Here's Garrett coming down the slide.

Mason really did have a good time. He just couldn't figure out how to get back down. Poor guy.

Good thing mom was there to rescue him.

Other than it being really cold and windy. We had a great time. The boys had tons of fun and we can't wait to carve our pumpkins.

Field Trip to Carver Farms

Yesterday Hyrum's class went to Carver Farms for a field trip. It was a beautiful day to be outside and the kids had a great time.
First the kids got to go over to the corn fields where there was a maze for them to go through. Hyrum so excited about going through the maze.
Most the time we had to walk single file. It was so much fun watching how excited the kids got just going through the maze.
After going through the maze each kid got to pick two ears of corn all by themselves to take home with them. Noah got to join in the fun as well. He was so excited to get to be part of the fun.
There were so many parents who came to help out so our group just had Hyrum, Rodney and of course Noah.
After the corn maze and the picking of the corn the kids got to take a hay ride over to the pumpkin patch.
Hyrum and Noah were having a great time on the hay ride. It was their favorite part.
After picking out their own pumpkins and gourds we take another hay ride back over to the picnic tables for a snake.
Everyone got their own bag of popcorn.
Then of course we had to get a class picture before we left. The kids were having way too much fun to focus on smiling for the cameras. After several tries we all decided we were not going to get anything better. I think it still turned out fun. You can tell the kids were loving every minute of it.

New Toys

Chris has been asking me if he could get a four wheeler for several months now. He found a great deal on Craig's List for two Polaris four wheelers at a really great price so we decided he could get them. He picked them up last week on Thursday night and has been having so much fun with them. The boys of course love them and Chris has played with them everyday since we got them. I'm just glad he has something to play with after all the hard work and many hours he has been putting in for the business. Plus I like to play a little too! :-)

Legos

My boys love to play with their Legos. All of them do. Hyrum has been playing with Legos for a couple of years now and he is really getting good. He comes up with the coolest things all on his own.
Hyrum made these two all by himself and I was so amazed that I told him I would post them on my blog so everyone could see how talented he is. He reminded me this morning that I needed to take a picture of his Legos so I could show everyone.

So what do you all think. Pretty good for a 5 year old. Although I have to say I'm not so sure I could ever come up with something like this. I have a pretty awesome kid.

Pregnancy

What was I thinking. Apparently before I decided to get pregnant for a third time I had to forget what it was like the first two times. Once that happened I got pregnant, fast. Now I'm wondering, What was I thinking? Morning sickness my butt. How about all day, all night forever sickness. I don't remember waking up in the middle of the night being pregnant with the first two because I had to make a visit to the bathroom to make sure my head still fit. I'm pretty sure before I could at least sleep through the night and then wake up at a decent time to start with the visit to the bathroom. So not only am I sick and every little smell makes my stomach churn, but I am exhausted all the time except when it's time to go to sleep. That's when all of a sudden I'm not even the least bit tired. So I toss and turn trying to fall asleep with no success.

Last night was one of the worst. I tried reading, listening to Instrumental music and even watching a little TV. Finally 1 am rolls around and I think man I really need to get to sleep so I can get up in the morning to get Hyrum to school on time and spend some quality time with Noah. So I finally fall asleep sometime after 1 am and what's this I'm awake and it's still very dark outside. Oh no I have to go to the bathroom right now. After about 10 minutes of visiting with the toilet and letting it know what I had for dinner I go back to lay down. It's 4:40 am. That's nice. So I try to sleep some more. Wait no, I'm not done yet. Still not done. Well I guess maybe I should read or something until this passes. 6 am Chris is awake. Well guess I'm not going back to bed anytime soon. Good thing I got a book to keep me busy.

Oh the joys of being pregnant. Let's hope this is a girl otherwise I don't know if I will ever have a daughter because I'm not going through this again. Or am I? At least I know in the end I will have a beautiful baby who I will love unconditionally. Worth it, right!?!?! Right!
