We are home!

Sorry, I have been slacking in the blog department. The boys and I have been home for over a week now and boy are we happy to be here. Chris got back on Monday evening so are family is complete and we are very happy to be home and together. It has been very cold of course and snowing more than I had expected. Seeing how I expected there to be no more snow and we are still getting snow. That's okay though, I will take it. For now anyway. I have been busy with preparation for baby sister. She is due in less than 7 weeks and I have tons that I would like to get done before then. Chris says I am nesting, I saw it is just spring cleaning fever, whatever it is I am going to be busy. Next thing you know she will be here and I wont have time for hardly anything but her and my boys. One of my goals in the next week is to update my blog with pictures from Texas so you can all see what the heck we were doing down there all those months.

FYI

My sister is going to be throwing me a celebration lunch for having a girl and I need to get everyone's address. Unfortunetly I have lost everyone's email address since I cancelled my comcast account. Please email me at lisafarman@gmail.com and send me your address so that we can get you an invitation. I believe we are going to be doing the Olive Garden and it's pay your own way, gifts optional. I hope everyone can make it so be sure to get me your address.

Coming Home

Okay so the trip home is set to start this coming Friday (Feb. 27th). I will be traveling with my little sister Melody, Hyrum and Noah. Chris is will coming home at a later date still to be determined. Our trip should only take 3 days. Friday we will travel from Houston, TX to Albuquerque, NM which will take approximately 13 hours and 13 minutes. On Saturday we will be traveling from Albuquerque to Salt Lake City, UT which will take approximately 9 hours 59 minutes. We will be stopping in Salt Lake so we can visit with my brother Leigh Saturday night. On Sunday we will drive the last leg of our trip from Salt Lake City to Spokane, WA which will take approximately 10 hours 16 minutes. I can't wait to be home in my own bed, in my own house. I will update my blog when I return home and have plenty of pictures of our time in Houston and all the fun we have had. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

New Email Address

I had to cancel my comcast account because we now use a Sprint air card for the internet instead of comcast high speed so I have had to change my email address. Please update your information and send me a email so I can add you onto my address book. I have lost all my other information. The new email address is ** lisafarman@gmail.com **

Thanks,

Lisa

Updates from Texas

Things are still going okay here in Texas. Chris is doing his best to keep busy and keep his guys busy. Hyrum is doing well in his new school, but it turns out that he may need glasses. Noah and I have been getting a lot of bonding time in together. The weather has been nice and everyone that we meet is real friendly, but it doesn't compare to being home. The ward we are in seems nice enough and I'm sure if we were planning on living here we would make plenty of friends. That hasn't kept me from feeling homesick for Spokane. I miss my family, my friends and our ward there. The boys and I will be leaving for Spokane on the 25th of this month. Chris is going to be staying here for another month. I am getting anxious to get things ready for the baby. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Children's Museum of Houston

Holly and I took the boys to the Children's Museum and they had a great time. Here is a picture of the boys after they got to color their faces. Don't they look scary.
Here they are hard at work getting their war paint on.

They had turtles in a creek outside.
The Flow Works part was tons of fun.

The kids got to milk a cow. Course the cow wasn't real, but they were able to get some water out.

They had a grocery store section where they had shopping lists and a check out register when you were all done. Here is all the food the boys collected.

Here's the way cool car the kids got to see all the insides of. They loved it.

Cute little Brody happy as can be. He was such a good, happy little boy. I think he just enjoyed watching all the kids running around and all the fun colors.
The pulley system where you could lift yourself up on a seat.

The phone center was pretty awesome too. I don't know if you can tell, but that is Noah on the screen and Porter is talking to him on the phone. If you looked on Noah's screen you would see Porter. The boys thought that was pretty cool.

The is the phone sculpture made out of all different kinds of phone. If you look closely you can see a hamburger, fries and coke phone. There is also and apple and banana phone as well. Can you see where they are?

Our Apartment

This is the view from our patio
our kitchen
the entry way
the dining room
our living room and all the furniture we have
master bathroom
our bedroom
and the boys room. Pretty exciting I know. The apartment works great for what we need. We have a couch and are looking for a table, but may end up not getting one anyway. The apartment complex has two pools and a hot tub at each one and there's a fitness center. The apartment complex is close to town center and Hyrum's school.
