Introducing Evelyn Rae Farman

The delivery went well. She couldn't come fast enough. Evie is healthy, happy and very beautiful. We are so proud to have her as part of our family. She currently has her days and nights mixed up so I am pretty tired going on only 4 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. I still couldn't be happier. I'll have more pictures soon I just wanted to get these up so everyone can see our newest addition.

Houston Zoo

The zoo was fun right in the center of the city. You could see the sky scraper all around the zoo. It was pretty crazy. Of course is was also crazy busy. It took an hour of driving around the zoo until we finally found a parking spot. The boys of course had a great time. We had Julio and Clayton who work for Chris join us and they did a great job of helping out with the boys. Then of course my sister was there too. It was a beautiful sunny day.

NASA- Houston, TX

My little sister Melody came down a couple weeks before we left Texas to see some of the sights and then drive back with me. One of the places we went was NASA. It was okay. I think if we were bigger Space nuts it would have been a lot more fun. As it was the best part was the play area for the kids only Chris and I weren't alloud to play too. They had a tour of mission control and the training facilities, but it was really long and very boring. The boys got very restless and we didn't have the option to duct out before the tour was over. It was still a good experience and we are glad we went.

Day at the beach in Galviston Feb. 2009

I am way behind on my blog so I am going to be adding pictures from Texas and stuff for the next couple of days. These pictures are from Feburary when Chris's sister Mary and her husband Kurt came down to visit us. We took a day to go down to Galviston so hang out on the beach. They boys had a blast playing in the sand.

We are home!

Sorry, I have been slacking in the blog department. The boys and I have been home for over a week now and boy are we happy to be here. Chris got back on Monday evening so are family is complete and we are very happy to be home and together. It has been very cold of course and snowing more than I had expected. Seeing how I expected there to be no more snow and we are still getting snow. That's okay though, I will take it. For now anyway. I have been busy with preparation for baby sister. She is due in less than 7 weeks and I have tons that I would like to get done before then. Chris says I am nesting, I saw it is just spring cleaning fever, whatever it is I am going to be busy. Next thing you know she will be here and I wont have time for hardly anything but her and my boys. One of my goals in the next week is to update my blog with pictures from Texas so you can all see what the heck we were doing down there all those months.

FYI

My sister is going to be throwing me a celebration lunch for having a girl and I need to get everyone's address. Unfortunetly I have lost everyone's email address since I cancelled my comcast account. Please email me at lisafarman@gmail.com and send me your address so that we can get you an invitation. I believe we are going to be doing the Olive Garden and it's pay your own way, gifts optional. I hope everyone can make it so be sure to get me your address.
